Jamie Lacy, LCSW-R
Director, Supervisor, Therapist
I believe therapy can offer an opportunity to find clarity, to better understand overwhelming experiences, as well as to grow from difficult times. I specialize in working with individuals struggling with their relationships, dealing with trauma, and coping with stress, anger, depression and anxiety. I also hold space for and invite the exploration and curiosity of one's relationship with their various identities. Regardless of the struggle, I believe the most important piece of therapy is tailoring each individual's therapy to their unique needs in order to assist the growth and change necessary to feel better.
I have experience working with depression, anxiety, panic attacks, stress management, masculinity, sexuality, becoming a new parent, fatherhood, life changes, grief and loss, and general feelings of being 'stuck.'
I earned my Masters of Social Work from Smith College School for Social Work and have a Certificate in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy from The Training Institute for Mental Health. I also incorporate mindfulness EMDR and meditation techniques as well as Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) into my work when appropriate.
